An Independent Perspective on China

Sometimes, an audit report is only part of what you need. You may also need an independent perspective on the numbers, a clearer assessment of financial risks, or practical guidance on China's accounting and business environment.

Whether you are evaluating a business, considering an investment, or addressing a complex financial matter in China, feel free to get in touch by email for an initial discussion.

China Financial Due Diligence & Advisory

I help international businesses, investors and multinational corporations understand financial information, assess business risks and make informed decisions involving China.

My work focuses on financial due diligence, independent financial advisory and transaction-related support. I help clients evaluate financial performance, assess earnings and working capital, identify financial risks, and gain a clearer understanding of businesses and investment opportunities in China.

I also provide audit and financial support, including China component audits for international group auditors, PRC GAAP and IFRS reporting coordination, and accounting and compliance advisory for multinational businesses operating in China.

My experience across China's capital markets and multinational group environments enables me to bridge the gap between local financial information, regulatory requirements and international business expectations. I take an independent, evidence-based approach, with a focus on practical analysis and actionable insights.

How I Can Help

How engagements are contracted. Advisory and transaction work is contracted through a consulting entity. Statutory audit engagements are contracted through an accounting firm, and statutory audit reports can only be issued by a registered accounting firm. I will confirm which applies before any work begins.

Note on independence. Where an assignment would create an independence or conflict issue, I will decline one of the two engagements. That is not a negotiating position; it is a requirement.
